Hi Alexandra
I am an avid reader and have my 'favourite' authors and pounce on any books they bring out, so consequently I am always on the look out for any new authors to suit my taste. One day I decided to try one (The Turn of the Tide), I have to say from then on I have been hooked! I haven't got through them all yet, but since then I have read 'The Face in the Locket' and 'The Sixpenny Winner'. I have really enjoyed them. It's a long time since I have enjoyed a book so much. They are so imaginative and the tale twists and turns along the way. I can't wait to read them all. The Sixpenny Winner was brilliant, I was glued to the end.

After reading all my life and I have got a book case full of Catherine Cookson Victoria Holt Maureen Lee Josephine Cox Elizabeth Murphy etc. I came across your book The Sixpenny Winney - and couldn't put it down!! Since then me and my friend have just finished reading The Face in the Locket - and yet again - the whole weekend was taken up reading it!! - it is just a marvellous story - I have now put my mum onto you!! We just can't get enough of your books! In the Face in the Locket I thought that Harris would end up with Richard - so it just shows how wrong you can be!!
Dear Alexandra,
I have just listened on cassette to your book An Angel Passing Over. What a wonderful, rich book. I loved it and have ordered more of your books from the library. I have been reading about you on the Internet and thinks what a talented person you must be and blessed with good looks too. Well done Alexandra, I live in New Zealand and am so glad that we can get your books here. All the best, K** *****

Dear Alexandra,
Just to say I enjoyed 'An Angel Passing Over.' I thought Grace a warm heroine, and your story kept me turning the pages right to the end. More ups and downs than a roller coaster!
Many thanks for a good read.
With best wishes,

In The Lydgate Widow, Alexandra Connor has once again given us a cast of tough, gritty characters that has become her trademark…. Her style of writing sets her apart from the rest…..

Just have to say that I loved THE WATCHMAN’S DAUGHTER – Alexandra Connor’s best yet! Robin Wells is so scary and Kat so convincing. More please! And soon!
