I painted this work life size to make it realistic and show the affection between children and their pets. Also I wanted to display the angularity of the whippet in contrast with the softness of the rabbit and the child's body.
 
I was delighted that this painting was bought by an animal rescue sanctuary in the USA - and now hangs in the perfect place!
